Zombot Multi-stage Masher is the boss of Neon Mixtape Tour in Plants vs. Zombies 2 that appears in Neon Mixtape Tour - Day 32 and could appear in Modern Day - Day 34. It possesses the appearance of a concert stage, and it takes up space in the two columns in all lanes furthest to the right. Unlike other Zombots, it has five stages of health instead of three with each one representing a jam (punk, pop, rap, 8-bit, and metal) respectively.
It is also capable of crushing plants by dropping speakers that deal passive damage to plants in front on them and touching plants after being knocked by Breakdancer Zombie, as well as flinging away both plants and zombies alike through its extremely powerful shockwave attacks from the rightmost speakers.
An intimate evening with some of Dr. Zomboss' most recent and painful explorations.
Special: Speakers do passive damage (except to ground plants and Phat Beet) and send out shockwave attacks
In another world, in another time, Dr. Zomboss would receive the bounty of enthusiastic applause that is his due. Not here and now, though. Nope.

Stages[]
Zombot Multi-stage Masher has a total of three special abilities, it will randomly performs one of the following actions:
Summons zombies during the respective jam phases.
A target will appear on a random space in the 2nd to 6th column and the Multi-stage Masher will drop speakers from above at that space to smash any plants, these speakers do passive damage to any plant (except Phat Beets and ground plants) within two tiles on the left side of it. Speakers dropped can kill plants even when fed with Plant Food.
The Multi-stage Masher will make the rightmost speaker send out shockwaves to wipe all the plants and zombies in its lane, the speaker will flash white for 3 seconds before sending out shockwaves. If there is not one in the lane, one will automatically spawn when the Multi-stage Masher degrades.
Crushes plants that the Multi-stage Masher touches after being knocked by Breakdancer Zombie.

Trivia[]
Zombot Multi-stage Masher and Zombot Tuskmaster 10,000 BC are the only Zombots that remain stationary throughout the fight.
Unlike the Zombot Tuskmaster 10,000 BC, Zombot Multi-stage Masher can be hit by plants from all lanes.
Dr. Zomboss himself moves and jumps around though.
Unlike other Neon Zombies, if the player defeats the Zombot and Neon Zombies die (as seen playing the instruments), they will not disappear until the player gets the trophy or the money bag.
In addition, they do not get burned if the Zombot is defeated.
In the Almanac, the picture and Almanac stats shows only Dr. Zomboss instead of the Zombot itself. Only the punk form of Dr. Zomboss can be seen.
Dr. Zomboss' opening speech is a reference to Rick Astley's music video, "Never Gonna Give You Up," though the verses are paraphrased.
After being defeated, Dr. Zomboss will moonwalk to the right and escape.
This is the only Zombot that doesn't warp itself away after defeat.
Before the 4.2.1 update in the Almanac, Dr. Zomboss made vocal noises and was the second zombie to have done that, the first being Zombie King.
Unlike other Zombots, it visually degrades when health is depleted to half.
If a lawn mower touches the stage, it blows up in a puff of smoke instead of proceeding all the way out of the lawn.
This makes it the only Zombot that can obstruct the lawn mower, and the mower deals no damage.
Zombot Multi-stage Masher is not protected by Glitter Zombie's rainbow trail of protection. Therefore, they will not hide the entire stage behind their trail.
Spore-shrooms work differently on this Zombot, as they shoot directly to Dr. Zomboss instead of shooting the spores in their lane.
There is a rare glitch that can be performed during the rap phase that involves Power Toss. When there is a Breakdancer Zombie on screen, flick once then wait about two seconds and flick him again, keep doing this until he is at the stage (or you can use a Primal Peashooter to knock him back during Modern Day - Day 34, if you're confident he can survive), then he will kick the stage forward. Plants where the Zombot Multi-stage Masher will be knocked by Breakdancer Zombie will be crushed.
If this happens, the Zombot will summon zombies closer to your house. Later on in the Metal phase, if a Speaker generates a shockwave and hits Zomboss, it will send the entire stage and Zomboss off-screen. This wins the level normally, although the game soon quits to menu, without scorching any of the zombies or allowing players to collect the money bag. It can be seen here.
Even though speakers do not damage ground plants, speakers deal damage to Primal Potato Mines, unless they are armed.
There is another rare glitch where if a Stunion gasses a Zombie at the same time a speaker wave hits it, it will get stuck in midair like it still being blasted off the stage. This will end when the Stunion gas usually wears off.
Due to a bug in versions 1.9.0 to 2.0.1 of the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2, zombies summoned by the Zombot didn't activate their special ability, greatly decreasing difficulty.
In the case of the Zombot Multi-stage Masher, this is likely due to the boss relying on jams, which are absent in Arena.
The two aforementioned bosses are the only ones not to have their own intro. In the Zombot Sharktronic's case, it uses Ancient Egypt's boss intro.
The Zombot's name is a multi-pun: The drum set behind Zomboss is on a separate stage on top of the main one, and the Zombot has more stages than any other Zombot.
