Zee-lixir is an ability for the Wizard in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. When activated, Wizard throws a potion that makes zombies invincible for a short time and stop plants from jumping or sprinting.
Its name is a portmanteau of "zee," the way the letter Z is pronounced in American English, which is a reference to the zombies, and "elixir," liquid which is believed to cure all ills.
Throw a potion that temporarily makes allies immortal and stops enemy jumping and sprinting.
Zee-lixir has many useful applications. You can use it to prevent allies from being destroyed by Chili Bean Bombs, prevent Chompers from swallowing them, make them immune to Goatify, prevent them from being damaged by Shuck Shot, prevent them from being hurt by Sap Traps, Super Sap Traps, and Roll for Damage, prevent Chompers from eating you in Burrow, and more.
In addition to being helpful to allies, Zee-lixir is harmful to enemies. It prevents enemies from jumping and sprinting, so they are more or less locked in place, making them an easy target for a ZPG or an Imp Punt. It can also force a Rose out of Arcane Enigma, making her a vulnerable target.
Zee-lixir is like an antidote to all effects from all Plants. It can turn goats back into Zombies, removes effects of Jinx, hypno effects like Casting Shadows, toxic effects like Grody Goop, Stun effects like E.M. Peach, and Fire effect like from Snap Dragon and Spooky Squash.
It is a moderately good strategy to combine Zee-lixer with Spell Disaster. As if you use the potion first, it can protect you when doing the animation for Spell Disaster, as you are normally vulnerable to attacks when preparing for Spell Disaster.
