Strategies
Winter-Mint is heavily reliant on the few plants in his family, and Contain-mint generally does a better job at stalling zombies. Winter-mint has power synergies with Snow Pea and Winter Melon. While Snow Pea is boosted, it will its "chance to freeze" increase, which means it will have higher chances of freezing a zombie and especially a Gargantuar which would prevent them from moving. The increased damage boost + the higher chances of freezing means that zombies will have a very hard time advancing and thus makes it a very powerful combo. Using Winter-Mint with Winter Melon will increase its damage which will deal massive damage with the splash against groups of zombies as well as the chill duration of its melons. It should be worth noting that Cold Snapdragon has too little of a range to be viable, Iceberg Lettuce and Ice Bloom aren't very useful since zombies are already chilled and slowed and they don't have a very good recharge as well, although if it's to stop zombies and damage them a bit, it's okay.
It is not recommended to bring Winter-mint into levels where you can't lose plants, as, like the other Power Mints, he will disappear after a while. It is also not recommended to bring plants from this family in a level with plants from Pepper-mint's Family, as they can nullify freezing and chilling effect from Winter-mint's Family plants.
