Peashooter is the one of main plant protagonists and one of the most well-known ones within the Plants vs. Zombies franchise. Peashooter serves as the player's first line of defense against the zombies and is often the first plant the player unlocks or plays as.
Peashooter's personality and character throughout the franchise has rarely been elaborated on, with the most stated on him is his high determination and perseverance in fighting zombies. His lack of characterization is likely intentional to reflect on his role as the basic unit of defense in most games.
As of Plants vs. Zombies 3, Peashooter has appeared in every game in the Plants vs. Zombies franchise.
