Plants vs. Zombies Wiki

Hello everyone,

Recently, I have been seeing some useless coding incorporated into some pages. I will show a few things that users should NOT do:

  1. PLEASE DO NOT USE VISUAL EDITOR. Edit in source mode. Yes, you do need to learn some computer coding, maybe enough to get by. It will help you in the future, and it removes a lot of unnecessary coding. Some of that stuff is the <font></font> tag and the <nowiki><span></span> tag that is really annoying to edit out. I have seen a few instances of this, and it is just really annoying.
  2. PLEASE DO NOT ADD ONE CATEGORY AT A TIME. I haven't seen a problem here yet, but it is a major problem in other wikias. When adding a category, click "Add Category," add the missing category, press enter, then insert another category. Don't click "Save" after every category. It looks hideous on the page history.
  3. PLEASE DO NOT PROTECT TOO MANY PAGES. A lot of protected pages still can be edited so it may improve. However, as only administrators can edit them, they stay pretty basic.
  4. FOR LEVELS PAGES, PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE FORMATTING FOR EACH PAGE. I know that so far, the PVZ levels are doing fine as I am creating and editing most of them. But the PVZ2 pages...most of them look awful. Please look at the beginning PVZ levels for examples.
    1. For example, the introduction: Level 1-8 is the eighth Plants vs. Zombies level and the eighth Day level. To complete this level, the player must not let the zombies into the house. When the player is finished with this level for the first time, he or she earns the Repeater. This remains a problem when the introduction is not consistent.
    2. For another example, the Strategies. Put a suggested/given plants section and a tiny strategy section.
  5. FOR LEVELS PAGES, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE PAGES IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO FINISH THEM. Actually, leaving the pages missing and having someone else fill them out completely is better than having forty article stubs at this point.
  6. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE FOLLOWING CODING ERRORS as they are annoying to correct:
    1. [[Wall-nut|Wall-Nut]], [[Tall-nut|Tall-Nut]]
    2. [[Puff-shroom|Puff-Shroom]], [[Magnet-shroom|Magnet-Shroom]]
    3. [[Pumpkin|Pumpkin]], [[Squash|Squash]]
  7. ON REGULAR ARTICLES, PLEASE DO NOT CAPS LOCK INFORMATION. For example, instead of "MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PLANTS ARE SHIELDED FROM THE GIGA-GARGANTUAR, it should be "Make sure that your plants are shield from the Giga-Gargantuars" if you want to emphasize it. One or two capitalized words are okay, but please not a sentence (or worse a paragraph). On blog posts and threads, it is fine, but NOT articles.
  8. PLEASE DO NOT USE BAD GRAMMAR AND SPELLING ON ARTICLES. Okay, one or two speling eror iz fign two correct, but doo naught maik two many. Four spelling/syntax/grammar errors is craizy enuff.

I hope these will all be fixed soon; the top few are the most important.
