Typical Beanstalk is a 5 sun 4/4, so it had underwhelming stats, but you have to play it next to a leafy plant to draw a card. So, this card isn't necessarily very good, but you obviously have to use it in a deck that focuses a lot on leafy plants. Otherwise, there's not too much use to this.

Typical Beanstalk is a card that is highly outclassed by other cards. Its stats are below average for its cost, and it's ability tends to be situational, especially for a 5-cost card. The card draw can be used to activate Dino-Roar abilities, but there are other cards that can do this better, such as Flourish and Bamboozle. Typical Beanstalk's rather underwhelming ability only triggers next to leafy plants, whereas the aforementioned cards do not have such a restriction. Other 5-cost plants such as Whipvine have a much better stats-to-cost ratio and a more practical ability. While Typical Beanstalk can synergize with the leafy and bean tribes, it would usually be more preferable to use other leafy and bean plants.

There's better ways to draw cards. If you want a dino-roar trigger for your cards, just get a card that conjures. This isn't really recommended in most beginner decks because it relies on a very limited set of synergy, and from a competitive standpoint, it also suffers a lot from being way too costly (Or as other players put it, slow) to find real use. Leafy isn't a deck strategy where you look to draw cards, especially at such a late point in the game.

But if you really wart to use this, you're going have to make your deck centered around the leafy synergy in the game, using things like Lily Pad, Muscle Sprout (Probably), Savage Spinach and other cheap leafy plants. Otherwise, it's just an underwhelming 5 drop (If that wasn't obvious enough).

Typical Beanstalk's raw stats are sufficient enough to bring a few zombies down, so you should play cards like Rocket Science if one shows up on the field. As for its ability, try to destroy any leafy plants on the field, because it gives the plant hero a card, allowing Dino-Roar cards to cause more trouble. Other than that, this shouldn't be too hard to bring down.

I'm so excited right now.
This article is about a recently released or soft-released part of a Plants vs. Zombies game. As such, spoilers may be revealed. Read at your own risk!
Typical Beanstalk is a triassicuncommonplantcard in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, and a member of the Mega-Grow class. It costs 5 to play, and has 4/4. It does not have any traits, and its ability draws a card when it is played on a lane adjacent to a leafy plant, but not when a leafy plant with the Team-Up trait is on its lane.
It is based on the plant in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes with a similar appearance.
Its name is a combination of "typical," referencing how it is not magical, unlike Magic Beanstalk, and "beanstalk," the real-life plant part it is based on.
