It is based on the phrase, "Time to shine," which means to show yourself off and be recognized, as a plant "shows itself off" by attacking once more than usual.
Its appearance is literally a spot of sunlight, hence the word "shine."

Strategies[]
With[]
Being a cheap way of giving a plant a bonus attack, this can turn the tables if played on a heavy-hitting plant to destroy or heavily damage a dangerous zombie or your opponent, or on a Frozen plant to thaw it. However, since it can only be played once, you should think about what plant you should play it on.
A good example is to use it on Re-Peat Moss, since it does 2 bonus attacks, which could be very dangerous if its strength has been boosted. This can also activate Party Thyme's ability to draw a card. Captain Combustible can play this on an Anti-Hero plant to do massive damage, which can easily turn the tables if your opponent does not have enough brains to deal with them.
Do not use it on plants with no strength, as this trick will do nothing. In addition, do not play this trick if Bonus Track Buckethead is on the field as it will also do nothing, or if Gargantuar Mime is on the field, as he will most likely copy that plant's bonus attack, unless you use it on Imitater, who happens to be weak.
Against[]
Simply having Bonus Track Buckethead on the field renders this trick useless. If that isn't an option, having zombies with high health can somewhat prevent your defenses from crumbling under an extra bonus attack. If you predict that your opponent will play this next turn, you can play a Gravestone zombie to block the bonus attack.
You can also counter this trick with Gargantuar Mime, only when it is used on a plant that is not in the mime tribe.
