    (Forgive me if these things have a format to follow, this is my first forum post.)

    So this started out between me and Bolt-Weed over here....

    Eventually it got pretty long, so naturally I decided to make it a forum post because I don't want to take up 75% of the comments ssection over there. We were discussing why NMT Zombies weren't in PvZH because they would be perfect alongside Electric Boogaloo. So we got thinking and now we have a whole lot of ideas for the majority of the NMT Zombies. Honestly though I'm open to ideas for any Zombie in PvZ2. Go at it!


    What we had so far:

    • MC-Zom-B - 2 Health, 5 Damage. "When turn ends: do a bonus attack here and next door."
    • Punk Zombie - "When Zombie Tricks starts: bounce a random Plant."
    • Glitter Zombie - "Team-up: All zombies behind this are Shielded."
    • Arcade Zombie - "When played: Create a random 8-bit Zombie in every empty lane."
    • 8-bit Zombies - Basic, Conehead, and Buckethead, same stats as their corresponding normal counterpart, but also say "When killed: Gain 1 Brainz."
    • Breakdancer - "When played: Swap places with a Zombie. That Zombie does a Bonus Attack."

    • Alright, back where we were! The next and final NMT zombie.. The boombox zombie.

      I say he should get the trick treatment. Costing 4 brains, his boombox will appear and destroy all plants on the ground with 1 attack or less.

      Nah... "All Plants have 0 attack during this turn."

      Because he didn't destroy them, he just disabled them. I think this is better.

      Then it can basically attack directly every turn if not properly blocked. Also, insta-kill if not blocked at all.

    • I got Dinosaur Trick ideas:

      T-Rex: 5 brainz, Affected Zombie does 2 bonus attacks.

      Aklyosaurus: 4 brainz, Bounce a plant, summon a 2/3/ Jurrassic Conehead in that lane.

      Pterodactyl: 7 brainz, Defeat a Plant and summon a 3/1 Jurrassic Imp that says "When destroyed: Do a bonus attack."

      Stegosaurus: 7 brainz, Summon a random zombie in 3 lanes

      Velociraptor: 3 brainz, Summon a 2/5 Jurrassic Fossilhead; it does a bonus attack.

      When destroyed: Gain three "The Chickening" card that costs 4 and says "Do 2 damage to every Plant."

      Prospector: 4/2; Premium-uncommon

      Start of turn: Move this Zombie. (you move him, not the game)

      And FF ones too:

      Pylon Imp: 1/1; Premium-legendary/super-rare

      Start of turn: transform into a 3/6 Pylon Mech that says "Splash Damage 3".

      Mecha-Football: 2/5; Premium-super-rare

      When this hurts a Plant, Bounce it.

      Gargantuar Prime: 6/5; Premium-legendary

      When played: Do 3 damage here and next door. After combat here, this does a Bonus Attack. When destroyed: Destroy a Plant here.

    • In my opinion the proposed idea you have for Punk Zombie would fit the Pirate Captain Zombie perfectly, with the parrot being the one that bounces the plant. As for an alternative idea for the Punk Zombie I have this:

      Class: Crazy

      Tribe: Dancing Zombie

      Attack: 3

      Health: 4

      Cost: 5 Brains

      Special: When this hurts a plant, bounce that plant. After combat here this does a bonus attack.

      Basically this would be a good way to get rid of high health/low damage plants like Wallnuts, Threepeater, etc, while also dealing some damage to the plant hero. Would also be a good counter to plants with team-up.

      Rap jam is splitted into 2 parts

      Boombox Zombie (5 BrainPvZH

      - 2 StrengthPvZH/4 HeartPvZH): When Played: Play a Random Jam. Start of Turn: Play a Different Jam.
      • Ballad: All plants cannot attack this turn.
      • Punk: Create a Punk Zombie (2 BrainPvZH - 2 StrengthPvZH/2 HeartPvZH - When Played: Plants here are Bounced) on a random lane.
      • Pop: Create a Glitter Zombie (5 BrainPvZH - 4 StrengthPvZH/3 HeartPvZH - All other Zombies are Shielded during Pop) on a random lane.
      • Rap (part 1): Create an MC Zom-B (5 BrainPvZH - 3 StrengthPvZH/3 HeartPvZH - End of Turn: Deal 3 damage to Plants here and next door) on a random lane.
      • Rap (part 2): Create a Breakdancer Zombie (2 BrainPvZH - 1 StrengthPvZH/2 HeartPvZH - When Played: Another Zombie does a Bonus Attack) on a random lane.
      • 8-bit: Create an Arcade Zombie (6 BrainPvZH - 5 StrengthPvZH/5 HeartPvZH - Start of Turn: Create a Random 8-Bit Zombie (behaves like basic trio) on a random lane) on a random lane.
      • Metal: Create a Hair Metal Gargantuar (8 BrainPvZH - 6 StrengthPvZH/6 HeartPvZH - After combat here, this does a Bonus Attack) on a random lane.

    • I didn't realize this thread existed, and I made PvZH versions in individual threads. If any of you are interested, you could go check it out. Currently I've done:

      Parasol Zombie: This Zombie is immune to any trick that harms Zombies.

      Poncho Zombie: Armored 3. When this takes 5 damage or more at once, lose all Armored points.

      Shield Zombie: Your Hero and all Zombies are immune to attacks that do 4 damage or more.

      Zombot Dark Dragon: Do 3 Splash Damage on all 5 lanes.

      Zombot Tomorrow Tron: Summon 2 random Zombies that cost 3~5 Brains on random lanes.

      Fisherman Zombie: When played on aquatic lanes: Pull a random plant into its lane. If that plant does not have Amphibious, that plant gets -2 Strength and -2 Health.

      Chicken Wrangler Zombie: When hurt: Make a Zombie Chicken on a random lane.

      Weasel Hoarder: Armored 1. All pets get +2 Strength and Frenzy. When destroyed: Fill all lanes with 1/1 Ice Weasels with Strikethrough.

      Torchwood seems OP and kind of illogical, based on the character. I was thinking more of a tank that got extra strength as plants got damaged/killed.

      Wizard is too much. First off, he has above average stats for a 6-cost. Second, Strikethrough on a Zombie is beyond powerful, and Gravestone turns its ability into a guaranteed wipe. Finally, that ability is damn ridiculous, wiping the board of all enemies without even triggering Guacos or Potato Mines. Sure, it costs your hand, but it givea you so much, it's beyond worth it. It's basically a cheaper and stronger Zombot 1000 for most intents.

      Wizard is too much. First off, he has above average stats for a 6-cost. Second, Strikethrough on a Zombie is beyond powerful, and Gravestone turns its ability into a guaranteed wipe. Finally, that ability is damn ridiculous, wiping the board of all enemies without even triggering Guacos or Potato Mines. Sure, it costs your hand, but it givea you so much, it's beyond worth it. It's basically a cheaper and stronger Zombot 1000 for most intents.

      A user here had a great idea for Spikeweed, and Spikerock, which IMO suits them the best; Entry Damage: It basically hurts Zombies played in the same lane.

      Spikeweed would cost 1, would have 1 health and would have Entry Damage 1 and Team-Up.

      Spikerock would cost 3, would have 3 health and would have Entry Damage 2 and Team-Up.

      They're damaged like all other plants however.

      3. Again, a bit too strong and its ability doesn't suit this plant IMO.

      4. Kabloom doesn't have splash damage nor bonus attacks. Scrap the splash damage and replace the bonus attacks with do X damage in lanes with berries. Its ability is very powerful. Why not leave it as: When destroyed: do X damage here?

      5. Although doing damage is a Crazy trait and Beastly has more Gourmet Zombies I still like the idea. An idea for Gourmet synergy which would fit Brainy: When you play your first trick this turn, add a Gourmet Trick to your hand, it cost 1 brain less for each other Gourmet Zombie.

      6. Again, doing damage would fit crazy better but the frenzy part could stay.

      1) Splash Damage is a PvZH Smarty IconSmarty trait. And there is no tribe called veggie, but there is a tribe called pepper.

      2) Infi-nut should be in PvZH Solar IconSolar, as healing is in that class.

      3) Tile Turnip seems underpowered for 5SunPvZH

      . And it is too high of rarity as well.

      4) The Sun-Shroom is actually a very good idea, but we already have the Twin Sunflower. Also a little too OP. Suggestion: "Start of turn: You get +1SunPvZH

      this turn. If you made it to at least 6SunPvZH this turn, you get +2SunPvZH instead." and it costs 2SunPvZH.

      5) Not bad, but it should have Team-Up in advance and needs nerfing in health.

      6) Homing Thistle is the best idea I find so far. Needs no changes.

      7) It should be more of a Premium - Uncommon card.

      8) Better with PvZH Deadly Icon

      Deadly, as it instant-kills plants in PvZ 2.

      9) Since it has a metal grate under the poncho, it should have PvZH Armored Icon

      Armored 1 and have less health.

      10) It makes cards not from its class, so the best class it fits in would be PvZH Crazy IconCrazy.

      11) Not much to say for this one, except for the fact that it fits more into Premium - Super-Rare.

      12) No nerfs or buffs needed to be suggested.

      Maybe lower its initial strength to 1, lower its health, or raise the sun cost?
      Do note that the Splash 3 effect does not kick in until its 3rd turn and the splash effect does not get stronger.

    • Zombies shouldn't have Team-Up. It's like the Gravestone for Zombies. You don't want Plants to have Gravestone.

      What traits currently exclusive to plants or zombies can always change. I think this could allow for a greater dynamic. While their are certain rules which might define a class, I think adding a greater dynamic that supports those class's roles makes things more interesting.

      While plants with Splash have currently been only exclusive to Smarty currently. Splash isn't actually a trait that the games define Smarty by. The main things Smarty is noted for by the game is Bouncing and Freezing, to an extent Amphibious.

      Also in its defense, Kabloom is characterized by extra damage and their destructive power. This plant, at least in execution, does display the destructive demeanor of Kabloom.
