Okay, so two templates, which are called Speedydelete and WorkInProgress, are not used on any pages on this wiki (which can be seen here and here), and are, in my opinion, outdated, and should be scrapped. This is because all of these templates no longer have any use, for the reasons following:
For Speedydelete, we already have Template:Delete, rendering Speedydelete useless. What is the purpose of having them both? Shouldn't pages that are marked for deletion just be deleted as quickly as possible? So there is no point in having one that just states that it has been marked for a speedier deletion.
For WorkInProgress, we already have Template:Construction. Construction notifies practically the same thing, but it invites multiple users to help make a page better, instead of pretty much discouraging editing for users other than the lone user that it has been marked by, by requiring users to contact the user who is editing it.
Choices:
Choice #1 |
Remove both of these templates. |
Choice #2 |
Remove Speedydelete, but not WorkInProgress. |
Choice #3 |
Remove WorkInProgress, but not Speedydelete. |
Choice #4 |
Keep them both. |
