The Zombosseum is a Thymed Event that ran from January 9, 2023 to January 21, 2023. This event was themed around the player and crew traveling back to the ancient Roman Empire.

This event prominently featured the Roman zombies from the Penny's Pursuit gamemode. Mechanics from other worlds such as Tombstones, Minecarts, and Slider tiles were also present in some levels.

In the Save Our Seeds levels, the player has to protect the endangered plants marked by a striped tile and his or her house too. If the player lets one of them be eaten by the zombies or disappear in some way, they will lose. Otherwise, it is a regular level, which the player can choose the plants to protect the endangered ones.

Locked and Loaded

Main article: Locked and Loaded

Locked and Loaded is a regular Brain Buster with the plants chosen, and the player has to use them to defeat the zombies.

Trivia

• Roman Caesar Zombie was the only Roman zombie that did not appear in this event, though he made his cameo in the banner.
• The Zombosseum was the second Thymed Event that takes place in a different period of time, taking place in Ancient Rome, with the first being Tomb Tangled!, which takes place in Ancient Egypt.
• Upon closer inspection of the lawn, it shows great resemblance to Ancient Egypt’s lawn through it's tile design as they are very similar, but slightly modified in color palette.
