Stickybomb Rice is a plant in Plants vs. Zombies 2 introduced in the 8.6.1 update. Stickybomb Rice is able to lob clumps of explosive rice both in front of and behind her. This explosive rice pins and stuns the target in place, detonates on after a set amount of time, and can be stacked up to three times. Explosions from these sticky bombs can chain and detonate other sticky bombs.
Stickybomb Rice can also attack zombies in two adjacent lanes, one at a time, similar to Dandelion. The projectile cannot be deflected by Jester Zombie and Parasol Zombie, nor can be blocked by Shield Zombie's shield. Additionally, since the projectile sticks to the ground, Stickybomb Rice does not try to hit flying zombies, but they still receive damage from the explosions.
Origins
Stickybomb rice is based on the rice plant, specifically the glutinous rice (Oryza sativa var. glutinosa) (also known as sticky rice), a variety of the Asian rice (Oryza sativa) grown mainly in Southeast and East Asia, Northeastern India and Bhutan which has opaque grains, very low amylose content, and is especially sticky when cooked. It is called glutinous in the sense of being glue-like or sticky which is why it is also called "sticky rice".
She is also based on the sticky bomb, known as the the "Grenade, Hand, Anti-Tank No. 74", commonly known as the S.T. grenade. It was a British hand grenade used during World War II as a anti-tank weapon. The bombs can attach itself to tanks and other types of vehicle and explode, which a reference to how the Stickybomb Rice projectiles can stick on the zombies and explode.

Stickybomb Rice |
Stickybomb Rice lobs sticky rice bombs with timers at zombies. Stickybomb Rice has extreme confidence in bombs, rice, and the abstract concept of stickiness. She's published scholarly articles about all three. |
Upgrades
Plant Food effect
When given Plant Food, Stickbomb Rice will lob the amount of sticky bombs equal to how many non-flying zombies on the lawn and each will latch on one of the non-flying zombies.
Arma-mint effect
When boosted by Arma-mint, Stickybomb Rice will deal an additional 175 damage per shot, her Plant Food effect will deal an additional 575 damage per shot, and her Bomb Chain Multiplier is increased by 25%.

Strategies
Stickybomb Rice is basically a Cherry Bomb, Apple Mortar, and Kernel-pult combined into one plant; she attacks zombies in adjacent lanes, stalls them, and explodes her projectiles all at the same time. However, unlike Kernel-pult and Apple Mortar, her projectiles cannot be deflected by Jester Zombie, Parasol Zombie, or Shield Zombie, allowing her use against these types of zombies.
She works well in tandem with Tile Turnip combos, especially with multiples of her on the lawn. When combined, it can stall the horde before dealing massive damage to all zombies caught in the explosion.
Take note that as with all Lobber plants, she is vulnerable to fast zombies such as Zombie Chicken, charging All-Star Zombies, and enraged Newspaper Zombie. For these types of zombies, Wall plants like Wall-nut, Slowing plant like Stallia, and Stun plants such as Stunion should be used to wall them. Lastly, although the explosion can take out flying zombies such as Jetpack Zombie and Balloon Zombie or zombies forced into the air via Spring Bean or Breakdancer Zombie, she cannot target them on her own, so make sure she is paired with either Chard Guard to push the flying zombies back into the explosive radius or Blover to kill them directly.

Trivia
- If the zombie has an X number of stickybomb rice projectile stuck to it where X is the number of projectiles required to guarantee a OHKO, Stickbomb rice would then lob her projectile to the next leftmost zombie in her lane.
