Steam Age - Day 4 is the fourth level of Steam Age in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2. When this level is finished for the first time, the player will receive the Steam Age lawn mowers.
In Normal mode, the player has to beat the zombies at Level 1.
Difficulty[]
This level can be very difficult for those without the proper plants. Steam Sewers are placed in the first column, making it difficult to keep your plants alive. The player should use Flat-shroom to block off the sewers for as long as possible.

- The small number next to the zombie icon means that zombie will always appear in that lane, with 1 being the topmost lane and 5 being the bottommost one.

- Start off by producing sun for your first Cattail. Do NOT plant at lanes 1 and 2.
- Garlic is used for diverting zombies from lane 4 to lanes 3 and 5.
- While not necessary, plant a Flat-shroom on the entrance sewer, just in case if Garlic gets eaten.
In hard mode, the player has to defeat leveled-up zombies.
Difficulty[]
With the added threat of steam sewers and the high-leveled zombies, this level can be very difficult. The player should only play this level when they have high-leveled plants.

- Cattails are pretty strong plants. However, due to upgraded zombies, some support is needed to beat the level.
- Hurrikale is perhaps, a great choice of a support plant as it pushes back zombies and chilling them in the process, giving Cattail some more zombies to kill.
