Stars are collectible items in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, introduced in the 1.2.12 update. Stars allow the player to rank up and enter new leagues in Ranked Mode of Multiplayer.

Stars can only be obtained by winning a match. The number of stars earned is dependent on the player's league. The number of stars needed to rank up is based on the player's league. If the player wins a match twice in a row or more, they will obtain a Win Streak Bonus star in some leagues. It is possible to get bonus star by leveling up in rank. After leveling up, you will receive an extra star. The player can lose stars if they don't win a match, but they cannot go down the ranks.
