Space Nuts is a Weekly Event game mode in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. It is a variant of Suburbination where players can only play as Acorn on the plants team or Space Cadet on the zombies team.

This game mode functions identically to Suburbination, except that a limited number of classes are available. You can only play as Acorn or Space Cadet.

A not-so-classic Suburbination face-off between Space Cadets and those pesky little Acorns!

Weekly challenges

The weekly challenges for this event are as follows:

  1. TBA
  2. Get Vanquishes as a passenger of an Oak or Space Station. (10x)
  3. Capture objectives. (10x)

The only available classes are acorn and Space Cadet, the masters of teaming up. As such, becoming Oaks and Space Stations is essential to become more powerful and ultimately win. Acorns are the better defenders, as their Sap Trap can be hidden in the zones and activated as soon as they got captured. (You have to time this just right.) Oaks can do the same with Super Sap Traps, ultimately doing more damage, and can use Roll for Damage to either force enemies away from a zone or destroy them while trying. Space Cadets make better attackers. Gravity Smash is useful against the Acorns, while Big Bang Beam is great against the Oaks. Crater Maker forces plants out of a zone (or destroys them), allowing you to capture it, while Hands-On Torpedo allows you to seek out your victims.
