While Quarterly Bonus means an employee’s reward during a fiscal quarter, it could be named that because of the fact it gives 4 Strength to a Zombie, and 1/4 is a quarter in fractions. Its description makes a play on two meanings of "booty," a person's buttocks ("kick butt" meaning to act in a forceful or aggressive manner), and valuable stolen goods.

Strategy[]
With[]
After the rework, Quarterly Bonus becomes far more potent (potentially due to a bug), allowing a Zombie to do a bonus attack with 4 extra strength. This can easily cripple your opponent's field, though it should be played with caution, as it makes certain zombies vulnerable to removal (such as Shamrocket).
Using this in tandem with a card that creates a zombie during the trick phase, such as Beam Me Up is also a very powerful play, as it basically does 12 damage if your opponent has an empty lane and does not block at least 1 of the shots.
Against[]
With its (potentially bugged) rework, Quarterly Bonus becomes a much, much more powerful version of Lurch for Lunch and can be countered the same way. Your options include dissuading or preventing the opponent from playing it such as using Forget-Me-Nuts, Dark Matter Dragonfruit, Brainana, Sportacus and Black-Eyed Pea, destroying as many zombies as possible to prevent or reduce this card's value or having a Wing-Nut on the field, however this method still lets the card grant a zombie +4 strength. Inversely, having a Pecanolith on the field makes the +4 strength granted to the zombie practically redundant but doesn't prevent the bonus attack.

Trivia[]
While the description states that a zombie’s becomes 4, it adds 4 instead. It is currently unknown if this is a typo or a bug.
This card has gathered widespread infamy among the community for its poor counterplay. It's frowned upon by many to add this card to your deck, especially because it could potentially be an exploit.
