Prize Bulbs are currency items in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville and are used to purchase rewards from Festivals. One Prize Bulb can be obtained for 4,000 XP gained (although buying it from the XP Machine does not count), as well as weekly character challenges (where 2 are obtained for completing 1 challenge and 5 for finshing the full character challenge) and daily challenges (where you get 2 for completing one). They can be alternatively bought using Rainbow Stars. Up to 50 can be held at once.
In the Nintendo Switch Edition, up to 999 can be held at once and XP from the XP Machine now counts. As Rainbow Stars do not exist on the Switch version, you cannot buy Prize Bulbs.

- It originally required 5,000 XP to get a prize bulb. You also originally only got 1 prize bulb for a daily challenge. These were both changed with the Fall Festival update.
