Plants vs. Zombies 2: Tang Ping (Chinese name: 植物大战僵尸2:躺平; pinyin: zhíwù dàzhàn jiāngshī 2: tǎngpíng) is a spin-off game available on WeChat.
Gameplay[]
The player can choose to either be a human (Crazy Dave) or zombie.
Humans[]
The humans are "guardians". They start the game by choosing one of the three abilities ("Empty Fort Strategy" randomly upgrades a plant, "Wait Better Than Work" immediately increases the door's health by 10% and "Something from Nothing" doubles the farmland sun production for 12 seconds") with another "Repair" ability (repairs door to full-health gradually) available at the start. The player then have 30 seconds to reach a camp before the zombies are allowed to freely move. By starting to farm on a Farmland in the camp, the player can gain sun to purchase plants to defend the zombie(s) and upgrade door, farmland or plants. The player then can plant or upgrade plants to damage zombies such that they retreat on low health before breaking the door. Guardians win by eliminating all zombies. Depending on the mode, there can be 6, 9 or 12 humans at once, respectively defending against 1, 2 or 3 zombies.
Zombies[]
Zombies are "invaders". They are held in the center of the map at the start for 30 seconds before being able to move. Each zombie has two abilities, "Shock" to stun surrounding plant and "Rage" to double attack speed for a period of time. Over time, zombies automatically upgrade to restore and gain more health and damage. Zombies can only heal by entering certain grasslands spread throughout the map. Zombies win by eliminating all guardians. Depending on the mode, there can be 1, 2 or 3 zombies at once, respectively invading 6, 9 or 12 humans.
