Pirate Seas - Day 9 is the ninth level of Pirate Seas in Plants vs. Zombies 2. Before the 6.0 update, Pirate Captain Zombie and the Zombie Parrot were introduced here. When this level is finished for the first time, the player unlocks the Spring Bean.

Strategies

Strategy 1

• Required plants:
  • Sunflower
  • Kernel-pult
  • Bonk Choy
  • Wall-nut
  • Potato Mine
• Plant two columns of Sunflowers on the second and third columns.
• Plant Kernel-pults on the first column.
• Plant Bonk Choys and Wall-nuts along. You can plant one more column of Kernel-pults to deal the hordes of zombies.
• Remember to use Plant Food. Using it on a Bonk Choy will also work on killing the Zombies effectively.
• The pictures below will explain this strategy.

Strategy 2 (Contains premium content)

• Required plants:

1. Sunflower or Twin Sunflower or Sun-shroom
2. Wasabi Whip
3. Wall-nut or Explode-O-Nut or Tall-nut
4. Cactus or Laser Bean
5. Hypno-shroom and Imitater
6. Any install-kill plants (optional)

• Plant your sun-producing plants on first column.
• Plant two columns of Cactus or Laser Bean on second and third column.
• Plant a column of Wasabi Whip in the fourth column, and Explode-O-Nut on fifth column.
• When final wave starts, quickly plant two Hypno-shrooms on the plants and feed them with plant food
• Done!
