Parkour Mandrake (酷跑曼德拉; pinyin: Kùpǎo Màn​dé​lā),also known as Mandrake (曼德拉草; pinyin: Màn​dé​lā Cǎo), is a plant in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2 introduced in the v3.1.4 update alongside Abyss Anemone.

He grows from the underground and begins dashing towards zombies, either by jumping and bouncing on their heads, or sliding and tackling their legs. He will normally just deal damage (by dashing) to the zombies he couldn't bounce on head or tackle the legs of.

He is also involved in the new minigame, Mandrake Parkour, and is related to the new Secret Realm, Parkour Party.

Origins

Parkour Mandrake is based on the Mandrake, a root vegetable with a long history of European folklore due to the roots resembling small humans.

His parkour abilities of running, sliding, and jumping are all based on the running protagonist characters of Subway Surfers.

Upgrades

Plant Food effect

When fed Plant Food, Parkour Mandrake will charge forward at high speeds, knocking the entire lane of small and medium sized zombies in the air, causing damage to other zombies that couldn't be knocked.

Costumed

When the costume is used, Parkour Mandrake will deal a lot more damage to the other zombies that couldn't be knocked.
