Pack Rat is a Elusive Zombie Foe in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville who resembles a Foot Soldier wearing the "Corporal Shootypants" Costume with the "Rubbish Ranger" Set. He can be encountered in the sewers of the Town Center, or at the museum, where defeating him rewards the player with the ELUSIVE FOE: Pack Rat medal.
Origins
He is named after the Pack rat, small rodents who build large complex nests using various available materials, due to the large rat sitting atop his head.
His name may also be a reference to the Rat Pack, a group of entertainers centered around the Las Vegas casino scene whose most famous members consist of, among others, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop.
Strategies
Finding Pack Rat varies between people's games, he can be located in the town center's sewers behind the movie theater but sometimes won't appear for some people. If Pack Rat isn't in his sewers start a skirmish around the museum to try to bring him out, keep fighting enemies until the map spawns him in and if he doesn't spawn reload the map and try again.
Pack Rat has High Health and Combat Aura which makes him deal more damage. Use abilities like Peashooter's Pea Gatling or Citron's Navel Laser to take him down quickly.
