The contrast between her aristocratic temperament and naughty personality makes what little friends she has very fond of her.

Narcissus Shooter (水仙花射手; pinyin: shuǐxiānhuāshèshǒu) is a plant in Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2, introduced in 2.3.3 update. She spits bubbles that can penetrate zombies in five tiles ahead to her similar to Fume-shroom, with a chance to blow a large bubble that removes zombie armor. When Narcissus Shooter is planted in water, she will start continuously dancing, and the damage of her attack is increased.

About

Narcissus Shooter is a Super-Rare Monthly special plant who spits bubbles that can penetrate zombies in five tiles ahead to her, similar to Fume-shroom. Narcissus Shooter' attack also has a chance to spawn a large bubble that removes the front-most zombie's headwear, lowering their toughness.

Narcissus Shooter also can be planted on water tiles in Big Wave Beach and the pool levels in Memory Lane (EX: The first two levels in season 6 of Memory Lane.) When planted in the water, she will start dancing. In addition, the damage for her attack is increased.

Origins

She is based on the plant in Plants vs. Zombies Online with the same name and appearance, who in turn is based on the Narcissus flower, also known as the daffodil, a genus of flowering plants with strong historical significance in early Europe.

However, in this game, Narcissus Shooter' eyes are yellow, though they remain the same in her HD art, Seed packet, and Puzzle Pieces.

Plant Food effect

When given Plant Food, Narcissus Shooter spits a large numbers of bubbles in front of her in a spread, These bubbles also have a chance to spawn bubbles on zombies' headwear.

Strategies

When it comes to armored zombies, Narcissus Shooter is a good defense against these zombie types. Knight Zombie can be taken care off by her, as she can blow bubbles which can penetrate his knight helm. As her description says, she can take care of Imps as well, which is a very good sign. Any Imps like Imp Porters or Egg Pusher Imps can be blown away by her.

Despite being able to take care of Imps and armored zombies, you can't use her on certain armored/Imp-type zombies, despite they're tied to one of them, for example Imp Cannon and Zcorpion Zombie (the latter despite the Imp is controlling the machine), and Excavator Zombie (despite the shovel acting as an armor).

Trivia

• If looking closely, the player can see she's growing in a small pond, thus she is semi-aquatic.
  • Real life narcissus are not aquatic.
  • The water puddle is never there until Narcissus Shooter is planted.
• She reuses Fume-shroom's attacking sound.
  • Likewise, her bubbles are a recolored version of Fume-shroom's fumes.
• Her idle animation in-game changes when planted on flooded tiles in Big Wave Beach.
  • This animation is actually the dancing animation she makes when Sunflower Singer or Dollarweed Drummer is fed Plant Food.
• Regardless of whether she is placed on Lily Pad on water or directly in it, she will still receive the damage boost.
• In her upgrade icons and some promotional art, Narcissus Shooter uses her beta design.
