Modern Day - Day 20 is the twentieth level of Modern Day. Upon completing this level, Modern Day's Endless Zone, Highway to the Danger Room, is unlocked.
Difficulty
Although there are no portals, this level can get moderately difficult with Punk Zombies, Prospector Zombies, Balloon Zombies, Newspaper Zombies, and Jurassic Gargantuar. Even though Punk Zombies can only move at half the speed due to the lack of their punk jam, they can still kick any plants in their way. They can kick any plant on the Gold Tiles if the player relies on them for more sun, unless if they are unkickable plants such as Spikeweed. The player may need to kill Prospector Zombies before they eat any plants backwards, damaging the player's defense. The player may also need to bring stalling plants or high-damaging plants to kill Jurassic Gargantuar and his thrown Jurassic Imp.
- The small number next to the zombie icon means that zombie will always appear in that lane, with 1 being the topmost lane and 5 being the bottommost one.
