Melon-y Lane is an achievement that can be obtained on the iOS, Android, PlayStation Vita, and Nook versions of Plants vs. Zombies. To achieve it, the player must plant at least one Winter Melon on every lane. This achievement can be achieved easily in Survival levels, especially in Survival: Endless and Survival: Roof, Last Stand, and all Day levels with three or four flags.
Origins[]
Its name is a portmanteau of "melon," referring to the Winter Melons needed to obtain this achievement and either the book series "Melody Lane" or the phrase "memory lane."
Strategies[]
Playing Last Stand can easily get you this achievement, since you have enough sun to plant six Winter Melons, but you must put one in each lane and not just randomly placing six Winter Melons. To speed up the process in any other level, simply place a lot of Sunflowers and Imitater Sunflowers. The Winter Melons do not have to be alive at the same time to get this achievement.
It is usually not a good idea to attempt this achievement in a shorter level (like the first level) because the Winter Melon takes a very long time to recharge.
In Last Stand, some strategies involve putting a Winter Melon on every lane.
Survival levels are a really good game to earn this achievement as Winter Melons will channel down the horde of zombies and kill them easily.
It is advised to earn this on a Day or Night level as there are only five lanes and you do not have to plant Lily Pads or Flower Pots. You do not need to complete the level to get this achievement, meaning that you can get this by only planting Winter Melons in Last Stand, then quitting.
