Its name is a combination of "light speed," a term used for the speed of light, and "seed," referring to the seeds all over its design.
Its description references the Star Wars franchise, where lightspeed is a term that refers to the speed starships make a jump to, when traveling through hyperspace.

Strategies
With
This trick is similar to Holo-Flora, but instead of it drawing two cards from your deck, it Conjures two tricks from the entire game, even tricks you can't normally get. This can make Lightspeed Seed either a blessing or a curse, as while it can Conjure powerful tricks such as Template:PvZHLink and Template:PvZHLink, it can also Conjure weaker ones such as Photosynthesizer or Banana Peel. Additionally, it may Conjure cards that are not in theme with your deck, such as Vegetation Mutation when you are running a deck with very few or no environments.
However, it can still be useful to play if your cards are low, as it Conjures you more cards to keep your hand up. It can also activate Dino-Roar twice, making it useful with fighters such as Tricarrotops or Lima-Pleurodon.
Against
There is no real counter to this trick due to its cheap price. Defensive End can increase its cost, but he is very expensive, and it requires more than one Defensive End to deter your opponent from playing such an efficient trick anyway (if it doesn't become too expensive already). Instead, Quickdraw Con Man would be a better counter since he can be played early. Either way, be ready to counter the two tricks it Conjures.
