Leaf Shield Weed is a Spawnable Plant and a Weed variant in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. It is essentially a Pumpkin Weed that carries a large leaf to protect itself, like a shield. It is the plant counterpart of the Newspaper Zombie but is tougher health-wise.
It has two attacks, Weed Whip, its melee attack, which deals 25 with the leaf intact and 15 damage otherwise and Seed Spit, its ranged attack, which deals 25 damage.

A leaf may not make for the best shield around, but it's better than nothing!
Health
The leaf has around 80 health while the Weed has around 120 health. Both the shield and the Weed receive damage separately from each other.
