Later, Gladiator - Level 1 is the first level of the Later, Gladiator event in Penny's Pursuit. It has bonus objectives and zombie swaps, just like any other Penny's Pursuit level.
Difficulty[]
This level can be somewhat difficult due to the health of these zombies, especially in harder difficulties. However, the two pre-planted Strawbursts can decimate a large chunk of zombies. The player should support the Strawbursts for an easy win.

Strategies[]
Try using the Strawburst when he is fully ready, since they can defeat most of the zombies that are in this level. If you want to protect the Strawburts, try planting Primal Wall-nuts to stall them, but beware Mecha-Football Zombie and Excavator Zombie can easily move them around, making them useless. If you have Bombard-mint, use it since the Strawburst can easily be stronger and its reloading is faster, bring other Bomb plants with it since they can be boosted too. Plants that cost 0 will be helpful to reach the bonus objective: Don't lose more than X plants since they don't use any sun at all. Avoid using Physical Projectile plants, since they can easily be deflected by Jester Zombie and be useless against Excavator Zombie making it a dangerous use. Also, use E.M.Peach to stall Disco-tron 3000 and Mecha-Football zombies.

- Instead of using "Bot Swarm!" for Bug Bot Imps, this level uses "Hot Dogs!".
