Ground Cherry (灯笼草; pinyin: dēnglóng cǎo) is the sixth plant obtained in the upcoming Castle in the Sky world in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2. This is flying equivalent of Plantern.

• Ground Cherry and Plantern are the only plants to be based on lanterns.
• For some reason, its Puzzle Pieces have it yellow instead of red like it appears everywhere else.
• Its almanac entry states that Ground Cherry is a friend of Torchwood and Snapdragon. It references Tiki Lounge, one of the mentioned places in Torchwood's entry.
