Hungry, Hungry Dinos is an achievement in Plants vs. Zombies 2. It is achieved by letting T. Rexes chomp at least ten zombies in a level. It is worth 5 points on Game Center and 500 XP on Google Play Games for Android devices.
Origins[]
Its name is a portmanteau of Hungry Hungry Hippos, a game made by Hasbro and "dinosaurs," referring to the T. Rexes needed to get this achievement.
Strategies[]
Since T. Rex will disappear after roaring, it is good to time a level to know when and which lanes the T. Rex will appear to charm it. Using an Imitater in conjunction with a Perfume-shroom will ensure it is ready to use immediately or time it to recharge before the dinosaur roars. The T. Rex will not roar if the zombies are eating a plant on the first tile, so the player can block zombies from entering and making the T. Rex roar this way. If T. Rex roars before charming, the zombies may be too fast so delay them with wall-type or any cheap plant. You can also use Garlic or Sweet Potato to put more zombies in the charmed T. Rex's lane. Hurrikale can also be used to push back zombies into the T. Rexโs chomping range.
Preferably do this on Jurrasic Marsh - Day 18, since it has the most T. Rexes (8) and the least amount of other dinosaurs. Try using Sweet Potato or Garlic to get zombies in lanes 2 and 4. Using Primal Peashooters, Hurrikales, and/or Chard Guards are also recommended.
