Increases the player's movement speed by 50% while using Gravity Smash.
Strategies[]
With[]
Gravity Smash is best as a finishing move, as it usually won't do enough damage to completely destroy an enemy, similar to Fung Fu. However, this ability should be able to completely destroy enemies with low health like Night Cap and Acorn, if aimed correctly.
As an alternative, this can be used to semi-escape a sticky situation by catching your opponents off-guard. If you're being attacked, use this and they'll attack where you were, not where you are, to hopefully allow you to escape. But keep in mind that if you do this without the Target Acquired upgrade, you can't run away easily while Gravity Smash is active.
Against[]
Due to the amount of damage that Gravity Smash can deal combined with its large damage radius, most plants are guaranteed to be vanquished by Gravity Smash. However, some abilities, like Acorn Dash and Shadow Sneak, can allow said plant to escape before impact.
Although Cactus cannot easily escape Gravity Smash, she can easily place down a Potato Mine in the center of the projected circle, causing a vanquish from the grave upon impact. A similar situation can be used with Chomper, who can hide in Burrow and then devour the Space Cadet after Gravity Smash is used.
