Level 5-13 was a bonus level, and the thirteenth and final Roof level in Plants vs. Zombies: Journey to the West. The player had to pay 20 gems or fully grow a Marigold, an Umbrella Leaf and a Cactus in their Zen Garden to gain access to this level. To complete the level, the player had to never have more than 30 plants (Flower Pot does not count as a plant).
- Generally, this level is identical to 5-9 in terms of challenge, as the only differences are it lasting an additional wave, and having an objective.
- The objective can be generally neglected, as Flower Pots don't count towards it, and 20-25 plants are more than enough to complete the level.
- While the extra flag does mean that Gargantuars appear far more here, a couple columns of Melon-Pults and some instants normally do the job.
