Dollarweed Drummer (铜钱草鼓手: tóngqián cǎo gǔshǒu) is a monthly special plant in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2. He was released on September 23, 2020 to celebrate the 7th Anniversary of Plants vs. Zombies 2's release in China.

He buffs all nearby plants' attack and attack speed by 25%, with stronger buffs (40% increase in attack and 35% increase in attack speed) being given to music-based "Orchestra plants." The list of Orchestra plants currently comprises the following plants:

Origins

Dollarweed Drummer is based on the manyflower marshpennywort (Hydrocotyle umbellata), also known as the dollarweed, a semi-aquatic perennial weed in the genus Hydrocotyle that thrives in wet, sandy habitat.

His ability as a drummer is based on how the leaves of the dollarweed resemble drum cymbals.
