Although he'll claim otherwise, the Cricket Star doesn't actually know how to play cricket.
The Cricket Star uses the Flaming Cricket Blaster as his primary weapon. He is the fire version of the Football Cannon. It inflicts burns upon enemies in exchange for a lower damage output. It deals 3-5 normal and 5-7 critical damage depending on how far the target is, and the burning effect deals 5 damage overtime.
With Imp Punt, the All-Star punts an Imp that rolls forward and explodes after a short time, dealing 150 damage to plants within its blast radius.
With the Sprint Tackle, the All-Star rushes forward, dealing 75 damage and knocks plants into the sky. This can serve as a short-ranged attack.
Dummy Shield is a shield that the All-Star places to protect himself.
An alternate ability of Imp Punt, Long Bomb allows the All-Star kicks an Imp up very high, which explodes when he lands and deals 150 damage.
An alternate ability of Sprint Tackle, Ultra Tackle does 90 damage but has a longer recharge time.
An alternate ability of Dummy Shield, the player can have four Shield Decoys, but it is weaker.
An alternate ability of Dummy Shield, the Future Dummy is stronger than the default Dummy Shield, but only one Future Dummy can be placed down at a time. When the Future Dummy is destroyed, it explodes (dealing up to 75 damage to nearby Plants).
Rounder Cricket Ball Enhancements
The cricket balls are given a good polish to make them more round resulting in less overheat friction.
The overheat fans provide a gentle breeze and reduce overheat time.
Superheated Flaming Cricket Balls
These superheated flaming cricket balls will cause extra damage.
As the Cricket Star
The Cricket Star with his fire abilities is better suited at taking on groups of plants. The Cricket Star should never focus on one target for too long, as it ruins the point of having fire damage, instead, the Cricket Star should spread around his damage letting the fire finish off weakened plants or leaving it to teammates.
Against the Cricket Star
The Cricket Star with his fire abilities can prove to be quite an annoying opponent. The best way to deal with him is to take advantage of his slow movement speed and his lowered damage by taking pot-shots at him with the Peashooter. Cacti can also take advantage by staying back and lowering his already lowered damage and snipe him from a distance. Template:GardenWarfare Zombies Template:GardenWarfare2 Zombies
