Column Like You See 'Em - Level 2 is the second level of the Column Like You See 'Em event in Penny's Pursuit. It has bonus objectives and zombie swaps, just like any other Penny's Pursuit level.

Difficulty[]

The main concept of this level is for zombies like Troglobite to block any projectiles with their environment modifiers. With that in mind, piercing plants should be used in this level.

Difficulty Swaps[]

In Penny's Pursuit, the zombies in a level can swap depending on the difficulty chosen.

Mild[]

Basic Zombie2 -> Jurassic Zombie2 or Jurassic Bully2
Conehead Zombie2 -> Cave Conehead Zombie2 or Troglobite2
Buckethead Zombie2 -> Neon Buckethead2 or Arcade Zombie2

Spicy[]

Basic Zombie2 -> Cave Conehead Zombie2 or Troglobite2
Conehead Zombie2 -> Neon Buckethead2 or Arcade Zombie2
Buckethead Zombie2 -> Centurion Zombie2 or Zombie Medusa2

Extra Hot[]

Basic Zombie2 -> Cave Conehead Zombie2 or Troglobite2
Conehead Zombie2 -> Neon Buckethead2 or Arcade Zombie2
Buckethead Zombie2 -> Centurion Zombie2 or Zombie Medusa2

Bonus Objectives[]

In Penny's Pursuit, levels have bonus objectives that can be completed to level up Penny Perks.

Mild Bonus Objective[]

  • Knock back Zombies 150 times

Spicy Bonus Objectives[]

  • Knock back Zombies 200 times
  • Never have more than 11 plants

Extra Hot Bonus Objectives[]

  • Knock back Zombies 250 times

Waves[]

The small number next to the zombie icon means that zombie will always appear in that lane, with 1 being the topmost lane and 5 being the bottommost one.

Note: waves are duplicated and randomized; a flag happens every 4 waves; Basic Zombie2, Conehead Zombie2 and extra Buckethead Zombie2 appear at random.

Strategies[]

Blover will be very helpful with this because the plants pre-selected can knock back zombies and using Blover can easily blow them away when knocked back. Use Chili Bean on Zombie Medusa, Arcade Zombie, and Troglobite since once they eat it they can't push the blocks. Try to stall zombies as much as possible, since they can easily eat your plants. Grapeshot should be used where there are lots of Ice blocks, Arcade machine, and Busthead Statues to easily destroy them , since they can take up space on the lawn.
