Coconut Cannon is a recurring character within the Plants vs. Zombies franchise. He fires large coconuts at zombies, dealing massive damage.

As of Plants vs. Zombies 3, Coconut Cannon has appeared in three games.

Coconut Cannon is based on the seed of the Cocos nucifera tree, more commonly known as the coconut tree.

His design also draws influence from cannons.


Plants vs. Zombies 2

Coconut Cannon's first appearance in the series is in Plants vs. Zombies 2 as the fifth plant unlocked in the Pirate Seas after beating Pirate Seas - Day 11.

He costs 400 sun, and is a member of the Arma-mint family. When tapped, he will fire a coconut down his lane, dealing massive damage to the zombie hit by it, as well as dealing splash to other zombies in a 3x3 area. After firing the coconut, he is unable to fire again for 15 seconds.

Garden Warfare series

Coconut Cannon next appears as a cameo in the Wall-nut Hills map at the final objective.

He fire Tallnuts down the pathway to Crazy Dave's mansion, which instantly vanquish anyone hit by them, zombie or plant.

Plants vs. Zombies: All Stars (China only)

Coconut Cannon's latest appearance is in the Chinese-exclusive turn-based game Plants vs. Zombies: All Stars as the second plant in the Coconut line.

He attacks by firing coconuts at zombies and his Plant Food effect causes him to fire a massive coconut that deals damage in a 3x1 area, but also deals damage to any zombie in his own lane.

He evolves from Coconut Sniper and evolves into Coconut Rocket Launcher.
