Chard Target
For the version in Plants vs. Zombies 2, see Chard Guard.

Chard Guard is a Common Wall plant in Plants vs. Zombies 3. He throws back zombies that approach him.

About

Chard Guard is both the last Wall plant as well as the last Common plant obtained by the player, being obtained after beating Floor 30 of Devour Tower. His seed packets are more likely to be dropped in Savings & Lawn Bank breakout levels.

He costs 3 sun and throws back zombies that get too close to him with his leaves. After a zombie has been thrown, one of Chard Guard's three leaves will fall off.

If Chard Guards looses all three leaves, he will no longer be able to throw back zombies, he will instead function as a standard Wall plant.

Origins

Chard Guard2.png

Chard Guard is based on the plant of the same name and ability from Plants vs. Zombies 2. His idle animation of him falling asleep also comes from his appearance in Plants vs. Zombies 2.

His Tacobility's name is a pun on "sharp relief".

His Plant Food name is an alliteration, as Slap and Storm share the same first letter
