Captain Sharkbite is a Super Rare variant of Captain Deadbeard in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. H​e wears a red pirate outfit and is covered in marine objects. Similarly to the other variants, Captain Sharkbite has two primary weapons: the Shark Laser for long range, which fires slower than the normal Spyglass Shot, but does more damage and has splash damage in return, and the Snappy Shark for close range, which fires much faster and is fully automatic, but does less damage and only wastes one ammo. He is the only Captain Deadbeard variant to be unlockable in the beta.

Trivia

• Petrified Cactus, Zoologist, Park Ranger, Captain Sharkbite and S.H.R.IMP are the only variants that have live animals on them without customization.
• Captain Sharkbite uses the Extend-o-Cannon in the Beta, while his long range weapon is actually a laser.
  • The Extend-o-cannon is the long range weapon used by a variant called Captain Cannon, who you could see in the Backyard Battleground in the Beta.
• He shares his name with a map in the original Garden Warfare, "Sharkbite Shores."
• He's the only Captain Deadbeard variant that wastes one ammo with his close-ranged weapon.
