Capaci-cone (蓄电雪松果; pinyin:Xù Diàn Xuě​sōng Guǒ) is an electric plant in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2 introduced in the v3.0.9 update.

Capaci-cone will slowly fire rings of electricity down his lane, which last for a few seconds. These electricity rings effect all zombies in a 1x1 area and damages them by striking them with lightning strikes. These energy rings have a max lighting strike cap that, once hit, will make the rings despawn.

If Capaci-cone is planted near other electric plants, he will absorb energy from them, which makes the rings him fires more powerful, increase their range and also gain a chance to stun zombies. Increasing to 3x3 and then 5x5 depending on how many electric plants are planted near Capaci-cone. Capaci-cone's appearance and animations will change to reflect how powerful his projectiles are.

Origins

Capaci-cone is based on the conifer cone of the deodar cedar (Cedrus deodara), a species of cedar native to the Himalayas.

Plant Food effect

When fed Plant Food, Capaci-cone will absorb energy from all electric plants on the lawn and create an enhanced electric ring. The thunderbolts summoned have higher damage and may stun zombies temporarily. Depending on the energy absorbed, the ring can either have an area of 3x3 or 5x5.

Costumed

If Capaci-cone is wearing his costume, thunderbolts summoned by his Plant Food ability also create electric arcs, dealing extra damage. 3x3 ring will create 1x1 arcs, whilst 5x5 ring will create 3x3 arcs.
