Cannon Rodeo
Cannon Rodeo is the second ability for Captain Deadbeard in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. When used, Captain Deadbeard will spawn a cannon and then sit on it. The player is stationary until the ability ends. This ability was first seen in the gameplay trailer for the game. It is able to shoot six cannonballs before cooldown, and each direct hit from the cannonballs does 50 damage. It also deals about 20 splash damage. Like the Peashooter's Pea Gatling and the Sunflower's Sunbeam, this ability can be deactivated without entering cooldown if the player has not shot a single cannonball from it.

The Cannon Rodeo is every bit as fun as it sounds. Ride a giant cannon and shoot super powerful cannon balls at whatever you want!
Strategies
This ability is similar to Pea Gatling, Sunbeam and Big Bolt Blaster, but it trades the amount of shots for higher damage and area of effect. Like those abilities you cannot move, but you can pivot while the ability is active. High ground is important, or else you will be vulnerable to opponents.
