Butter Beacon is an ability for Kernel Corn in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. When activated, Kernel Corn throws a piece of butter that, upon hitting something, starts to send out spherical transparent yellow waves which reveal nearby enemies for 5 seconds. Enemies detected by the ability will be highlighted yellow and take 1 extra point of damage from Kernel Corn’s Cob Busters, and 22 more direct damage from each Shuck Shot hit.
Reveal enemies for a short time by throwing a pat of tactical butter.

Strategies
Butter Beacon's only use is really to reveal nearby enemies. When about to capture a zone or objective, Butter Beacon can be used to let you know what you're up against. The ability also increases your damage, which can be semi-useful in the middle of a combat, but it is not recommended that you do this as it will take time to throw the butter and your opponent will be able to attack you while you do so.
