The Boomerang line (回旋镖系; pinyin: huíxuán biāo xì) was a Class A Brave plant line in Plants vs. Zombies: All Stars.

The line consisted of Frisbee Shooter (飞盘射手; pinyin: fēipán shèshǒu), Bloomerang (回旋镖射手; pinyin: huíxuán biāo shèshǒu), and Meteor Hammer Master (流星锤大师; pinyin: liúxīng chuí dàshī). They all specialized in stunning column-wide groups of enemies and attacked by throwing their titular weapons and catching them back.

Origins

The members of the Boomerang line were based on objects or weapons that are typically thrown at others.

Frisbee Shooter was based on a Frisbee, Bloomerang is based on a Boomerang, and Meteor Hammer Master based on a Meteor Hammer.

The second tier in the evolution was based on plant of the same name and appearance in Plants vs. Zombies 2.

Ways to obtain

Boomerang line puzzle pieces could be obtained through Endless Mode shop, Dave's shop and gems chest. Additional puzzle pieces can be obtained through Soulmates Puzzle system.

Abilities

Abilities were unlocked by tiering up, while their effect was increased through star leveling.

Note: 10(+5)% means that at LV1 this ability had a 10% on LV1, 15% on LV2 and so on.

Tier	Effect	Description
1	Headspinning [Active]	Deals damage to the closest enemy in each lane and stuns them for 2 turns, with a chance to get stunned for 2 turns as well. Additional damage 256(+256).
2	Infuriating [Passive]	Damage of the next attack after being inactive (stunned, chilled, frozen, locked) increases by 310(+310). This ability gets stronger after 2 such instances.
3	Art of Throwing [Passive]	Gains 74(+74) attack. While his health is lower than 30%, Headspinning doesn't cause selfstun.

Star leveling

After unlocking the Boomerang line, additional puzzle pieces could be used to upgrade it, which increased its stats and ability LVs.

• The Boomerang line was changed between updates.
  • There was a game mechanic, based on elements. Boomerang line element was air.
  • Boomerang line's feature was purple.
  • Boomerang line was previously unlocked by collecting 45 stars in American Suburbs, and its puzzle pieces could be received by replaying The Great Wall of China - Day 9 or Wild West - Day 24.
  • Boomerang line used to have combinations with Clover, Radish and Choy lines. It's currently unknown, which statistics these combinations increased.
