Bonk Choy

Bonk Choy is an Common Scrapper plant introduced in Plants vs. Zombies 3. It attacks by punching zombies both ahead and behind it.

Bonk Choy is one of the first plants the player obtains in the tutorial, and the first Scrapper plant the player obtains.

It costs 6 sun and it attacks zombies by punching them in quick succession, dealing a heavy amount of damage per punch. It is able to attack zombies that are both in front of it, as well as behind it.

Bonk Choy is also a main character in the game's story alongside other plants such as Sunflower, Peashooter and Wall-Nut.

Bonk Choy is based on the plant with the same name and appearance from Plants vs. Zombies 2, with his general appearance lifting more from his Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare appearance.

Bonk Choy's Plant Food ability may be named after the Bruce Lee film, "Fist of Fury".

is called "Asking Me About My Fists' Names, or


Bonk Choy's Plant Food ability is named Fists of Fury, which allows Bonk Choy to rapidly punch in a 3x3 area around itself, dealing heavy damage to any zombies within those nine tiles.


Bonk Choy's Tacobility is named Flaming Fists, in which punches dealt by Bonk Choy will fire out a fireball projectile that pierces multiple targets.
