Pirates of Solitaire
Created by JeloElducal · Story by JeloElducal
The gang ends up in the middle of the Caribbean (outside the rooms yet again), seemingly lost with nowhere else to go. Just then, they are greeted by a mysterious band of pirates named the Card-Carrying Pirates, led by Captain Ace King and his crewmembers Queen Heart, Jackspade, the Joker, and much more. They offer to bring the Gang home, but when the ship sinks mid-voyage thanks to a nasty tidal wave, the gang must try and get back to land with some new allies including Pearl (the mermaid from Solitaire Blitz), while recovering some important magical treasures back to their rightful spot before the greedy Ace King gets his hands on them.
Just like any other RP, IaLR has rules you must follow.
General Rules
- Don't use other people's characters without their permission. Exception is if you co-own them (i.e. got permission), or if they are free-use. Mind-controlling a character for a brief time is okay, but playing as someone else's character without it being free-use or co-owned is bad.
- Same goes for alternate universe counterparts: Unless the owner gives you permission to make an AU version, you can’t make an AU version.
- No godmodding. You can't just make a character step to the right and magically solve everything! It ruins the plot, the fun, and can cause a lot of problems. We had a case of this with the character "Script" in Season 1B.
- Follow the plot if needed. Nobody likes a derailed episode!
- No spamming. It just fills up the episode with useless crap, thus leading to derailment of plot.
- Swears are allowed, only if they are censored. Minor cusses like "crap" are allowed uncensored.
- No chronological errors. In a Locked Room's "Challenge" episode styles take place in June-August 2016. "Post-Challenge" and other episode styles take place in the present day.
- Mentioning real-life companies, places, and other stuff won't break the 4th wall. IaLR's Earth is supposed to be similar to real-life Earth, except with a few fictional places, people and items added.
- Do not join if you plan on ruining this RP. If you're just here to spam and spew hate among other stuff, you are ABSOLUTELY not welcome.
Thread reservations
- When the episode ends its story, we will think of creating another room. If the episode ends at 300 posts and hasn't even completed its story yet, we will make a new part.
- If the next episode is reserved, that episode must be made. Example is if the next room is Episode B, it shouldn't be Episode C. Go check this link for a list of episodes.
- Same case goes for the outro as well.
- Exceptions are if the next episode is set in the present and/or after the gang retires from the LR Challenge (which is September 2, 2016-present).
You're free to sign up for IaLR! All you have to do, is just barge in! However, you must explain what your characters are, and all that junk.
If you are planning to join in a Post-Challenge episode, your characters know who the other characters are and vice versa, since they already met up in the rooms. This is to prevent chronological errors from happening.
If you are confused about who are the other characters, what are the episodes, and other oddball questions, then join the IaLR Wiki! It's your go to place for all the info about your favorite roleplay. It also functions as a place to hangout with your favorite roleplayers!
So, join now if you're interested! The link is above this tabber box.
If you're planning to make the next episodes, use these templates!
Challenge Episodes
Your classic area. It usually goes like this: The gang must complete tasks, fight a villain (if there is one), and find the key to the exit door. But it doesn't always have to follow that pattern: you can make an episode with no real plot!Visit the template
Post-Challenge Episodes
Takes place after the gang retired from the Locked Room Challenge. In this episode, the gang is usually doing normal activities. The episode may or may not have a plot. The episode doesn't have to be about the gang relaxing, it can have a plot similar to Challenge Episodes!
