Everyone is saying how Clique is more OP than BMR. the answer is it is not. BMR is the best zombie event card and it's better than clique. you can play this on turn 3 with insane combos like IDZ transforming, giving 6 extra brains, or playing a ton of Brain vendors on nebulas. at least you could take care of the hell clique peas if you have removals, but if you play BMR on a field with 3 zombies or more, it's pretty much a guaranteed win (unless someone pulled of an OTK or something)
Also, I have been trying King decks with Transformation Station and it took care of the cancerous clique very well. Plank Walker on turn 5 and zombot on turn 6, then trickster on turn 7.
I completely agree. It can easily turn the tide of the match in your favor. All it takes for Clique Peas is one Rocket Science against a powerful one. BMR is much harder to counter, unless your opponent has Doom Shroom.
BMR is fundamentally harder to counter since it's a zombie trick, so yeah. Of course, BMR can troll you and give you a ton of terrible stuff.
Also, one Rocket Science would never be enough, since the buff affects all other Cliques and there's an infinite supply of them. I think Clique really is strong if you get it turn 1, since you can start the shuffling and growing early on.
The reason people have been complaining about Clique is that you can only have so much removal, and very rarely will you have a lot of it. As Newpaper said, "Sure, there's removal, but most of the time you don't even draw it." Since Mega-Grow happens to also have the card draw, you can combo Clique Peas into card draw, draw more Cliques, it continues.
Well, I was just referring to one Clique Pea in the moment. But I am well aware of the situation.
I find it funny that they never nerf it, because the worst part is that it is a Pea, so R.I.P if your opponent had Torchwood or The Podfather.
If they went with that nerf, this would be very understandable, but I guess, heaven forbid, they may balance it.
So why, I ask, is there no zombie equivalent to Doom Shroom? And Zombot Stomp is worthless, because it will just let it use the ability again.
