Well since Aloe is such a letdown, the upcoming update has nothing for me to be excited about.
Heroes event? Night Lost City?
Night Lost City is just Lost City with a darker shade. What is there to be excited about?
As for Heroes: I don't like or care about Heroes nor do I play it so the event only gives me 3 costumes that do nothing and that's about it.
I kinda assumed Night Lost City would have sun not fall from the sky, is this true or did I just make that up? And the Heroes event is the most eventful event of all the events we've ever had, with special music, proper dialogues (not just Penny talking about tapping to fire), new NPCs, guarenteed new, original parties, etc. etc.
It's good and all, but seriously there are things they can do that they haven't yet to improve the game, maybe by not taking things that worked before and screwing them up. For example, Seagull Zombie before had a "charred" animation, now it doesn't. Also, Pianist's music worked fine before, only playing when it went fully onscreen. Now it plays when it spawns offscreen, but the zombies don't start dancing until it gets onscreen, which is inconsistent. Oh, and the music oftentimes restarts itself on the death of a pianist which is annoying to hear and really ruins BBB levels with them in it. Oh, and Boombox always starts at the beginning of the jam now and never in the middle.
Or they could add actual new content. The Heroes event is okay and all but why TF are the zombies missing their hairstyles? And yes, I too prefer permanently unlockable changes, and as cool as night Lost City is it doesn't look like it will be permanently unlockable.
He originally had an animation and they removed it?
I'm waiting for a unique charred Yeti animation. In PvZ1 it was a silhouette, but in this game it's a normal zombie animation.
I know, right? Super Brainz has a hat, and Electric Boogaloo is missing hair. Why did people say it was a Snorkel reskin? It walks like a normal zombie.
Yes, he did. The zombie just turned charred and died normally (as in, upside down and all) but now suddenly when he is killed by a Cherry Bomb he's upright on his feet.
One more thing. Before a certain update Gargs had an animation for charring without imp and with imp. Then after an update Gargs charred will show an Imp getting charred too, whether or not the Imp was thrown or not. And then a later update made gargs throw the Imp even if they are charred while throwing the Imp. That extra Imp can be annoying if you don't have Blover.
The only positive with charring animations was the Trogloctocadullystar charring animation, every other change was a step backwards.
What made them think not adding the hair was a good idea? That's as puzzling to me as it is to you.
Night Lost City looks really cool and I like it a lot, and my hope is that it will be unlockable for use in that configurable-EZ I mentioned earlier, which will probably come at the same time we get another Gemium.
Gargantuars always had the Imp in their charred animation. I remember back when 1.7 came out and everyone was freaking out, one thing that was noted about the Gargantuars that was different from PvZ1 was they always had the Imp in the charred animation.
About Seagull Zombie, what's really strange to me is that it was a deliberate change, considering they actually added the standard charred animation's textures INTO Seagull Zombie's textures. What's REALLY odd about that is that most charred zombie animations, including the basic one, usually use textures from a common texture file that contains many things common to most levels. Some charred animations, including ones that are reused, are sometimes put directly into a zombie's textures for some reason, like with Super-Fan Imp for example.
