What happened to the Demonstration Mini-game and Ultimate Battle soundtracks?

When I left the game before the Solar Tomato update (so sometime July-August 2017), the Ultimate Battle and Demonstration themes were still there. I come back a year later, and geez alive. What happened to PVZ2? Power Mints, Battlez, and, most importantly, the soundtracks.

I saw nothing wrong with them whatsoever. They definitely made the levels more interesting, not having to listen to the same track over and over. Does anyone know more about what happened, like why PopCap just randomly remove them, what update it happened in, and if there are plans to bring them back?

They flat out removed them along with plenty other features in the game (you may have already noticed the lack of those Gargantuar podiums on the world map along with Dr. Zomboss ones being smaller and less exciting).

Their excuse for removing those is that they claim that they wanted to "save space", however they proceeded to add a lot of hidden in code unnecessary clutter that takes more space than what they removed.

And yeah don't get me started on everything they removed...

They are not.

The only way to get them back is if you install an older version of PvZ 2.

which version of pvz 2 did they remove both the minigame demonstration and ultimate battle themes???!
