Beware the Bewitching Zombie is the fifth mission for the plant side in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes. The main opposing zombie hero in this mission is Immorticia. This mission also features Professor Brainstorm (Teammate Battle 1) and Impfinity (Teammate Battle 2) as opposing zombie heroes.
At the start of each battle, there is a pre-planted Wall-Nut and a Podfather behind it on the second lane, so it is recommended to use Mega-Grow heroes with a deck containing many pea plants, preferably Grass Knuckles, on this mission.
On Halloween, a few plants decide to go on "Trick or Treating" when they unfortunately Trick or Treat at Immorticia's house who kidnaps them. This causes Nightcap, Green Shadow, and Grass Knuckles to arrive in order to save them.
There are not many threatening cards in this deck aside from Loudmouth and Vitamin Z, which can boost the weak zombies to make them more dangerous. B-flat may also be trouble, but it becomes less effective if you spam the board with plants, which Kabloom heroes can easily do.

Teammate Battle (I)[]
Teammate Battle (I) AI Deck
The only Gravestone zombie here is Electrician, so if he is played along with Cuckoo Zombie, destroy Cuckoo Zombie before he can do a powerful bonus attack. Paparazzi Zombie should also be destroyed as soon as possible before he can get boosted by the cheap tricks in this deck.

Mini-Boss Battle[]
Mini-Boss Battle AI Deck
This deck is similar to the Encounter Battle deck, but with some differences. There is one more each of Loudmouth and Vitamin Z, no B-flats, and Haunting Zombies have been replaced with Dog Walkers. This means that boosting will be more common, and Dog Walker can nullify weak plants if he is played on the first turn. Otherwise this deck is the same as the previously mentioned, so similar strategies can also be applied here.

Teammate Battle (II)[]
Teammate Battle (II) AI Deck
While the zombies here have high strength, they all have one health (except for Hot Dog Imp), which can't be boosted at all, making Sour Grapes very effective here. Grave Buster is also recommended to take care of the two Gravestone zombies before they can cause damage. However, you should be careful if any strong zombies still remain on the field, since Backyard Bounce may be used to clear the way for a strong zombie to hit your hero.

Boss Battle[]
Boss Battle AI Deck
This deck has a much wider variety of tricks compared to the previous two Immorticia decks, meaning you should be extra thoughtful of what plants to play. Be very careful in the late game, as she can start spamming Hail-a-Copter to do heavy damage, and Locust Swarm to destroy your defenses. However, the zombies here are still relatively weak, so taking them out shouldn't be a problem unless they are boosted by Vitamin Z.

The missions’s arena has lots of fog surrounding it, referencing the fog found in Plants. Vs. Zombies and other PvZ games.
The graveyard in this mission has the least amount of gravestones in any graveyard in the franchise, 11 on the map & 14 in the arena.
