Prior to the 7.4 update, Ancient Egypt - Day 31 was the 31st day of Ancient Egypt. Upon completing the level, the player would receive a money bag.

As of the 7.4 update, level expansions were removed from the world maps and placed into epic quests. Because of this, this level is no longer accessible from the map, and must be accessed when the epic quest is available.

Dialogue[]

(Crazy Dave and Penny appear)
Crazy Dave: Hey! Our lawnmowers are a-missing!
Penny: The timeline is exhibiting instabilities, User Dave.
Penny: Fixed-loop paradoxes are forbidding the presence of lawnmowers.
Crazy Dave: But I named the middle one "Mowie"!
(Crazy Dave and Penny leave)

Difficulty[]

Like Modern Day - Day 40 onwards and shown on the dialogue, there are no lawn mowers to save lanes, so the player should make sure to not let a single zombie pass through their defenses.

Waves[]

The small number next to the zombie icon means that zombie will always appear in that lane, with 1 being the topmost lane and 5 being the bottommost one.
Waves Non-dynamic zombies Ambush zombies Note(s)
1 1 5 None Carries 1x Plant Food.
2 None First flag.
3 None Sandstorm!
4 4 2 None Second flag.
5 Carries 1x Plant Food.
Sandstorm!
6 2 4 None Third flag.
7 1 2 3 4 5 None Carries 1x Plant Food.
8 1 3 5 Final wave.
Sandstorm!

Strategies[]

Strategy 1 - Rotobaga Spam[]

Created by Blobs2

This strategy works with level 1 Adventure plants. No power-ups, or even plant food are needed. There are likely multiple variations, but this is the plant lineup I used:

It is important to stall the first wave as long as possible, to generate sun. Plant Primal Potato Mines in the far back, for the Conehead Zombie and Ra Zombie. You should plant them next to graves, so you won't need as many Grave Busters, though you will still need some.

As soon as one of the mines explodes, the first flag is triggered. This is when to start planting Rotobaga. You'll rack up DPS quickly, so the sandstorm zombies should not be a problem, and they'll shred through newly spawned Gravestones as well. Still, you will likely need some Stunions and instant-kills.

On the second flag, a Gargantuar spawns. While the Rotobaga will deal significant damage, it is not enough. One way to deal the remaining damage is to place a Celery Stalker while the Gargantuar is getting hit by the Rotobaga, then place a stunion. Of course, your regular instant-kills work just as well. As the level continues to progress, more Gargantuars will spawn at once. You will likely need a combination of Celery Stalker, Primal Potato Mine, and Cherry Bomb. When using Celery Stalker, if Stunion is still recharging, you can stall the Gargantuar with Primal Sunflower and/or Rotobaga.

As mentioned before, this strategy does not require Plant Food. In an emergency, however, you can Instant Recharge your Cherry Bomb.

Strategy 2 - Kung-Fu Fighting (Contains gemium content)[]

Created by Comicboss4000

  • Required Plants:
    • (must be at level 4 or above)
    • (optional)
  • Start off the level by planting three Sun-shrooms on the first column to the left.
  • Kill the first few zombies with Celery Stalker, or if the former is still recharging, you can take them out with Bonk Choy.
  • If zombies are concentrated in huge groups, you can use Lava Guava to take them out. DO NOT use Plant Food on Bonk Choy to take non-Gargantuar zombies out, as every Plant Food counts and is precious in this level.
  • When the first Gargantuar comes, Cherry Bomb him and then use Plant Food on Bonk Choy. If you want to save your Plant Food; you can also use Primal Potato Mine. To deal with the Imp, just plant Bonk Choy on the third column.
  • When two more Gargantuars come, Cherry Bomb both of them by placing the Cherry Bomb in the row in between on them. Then, use Plant Food on Bonk Choy. Kill the Imp in the way as you did before.
  • In the final wave, three Gargantuars will come on Rows 1, 3, and 5. Cherry Bomb two of them and put Plant Food on Bonk Choy in the middle of them. For the remaining Garg, use Primal Potato Mine on him. If you have Plant Food left, you can feed your Bonk Choy plant food again. If you don't, keep damaging the Gargantuar with Celery Stalker or Lava Guava and wait for Cherry Bomb or Primal Potato Mine to load up. When either of them load up, just blow the Gargantuar up and you're finished.

Strategy 2: First to last

Plants required: Moon Flower, Dusk Lobber, Grave Buster, Primal Potato Mine, Stallia, Chard Guard, Blover

Plant four Moonflowers in C2R2-4, and C3R3.

Plant the other five Dusk Lobbers to make a square with the Moonflowers.

When the first two zombies come, plant Primal Potato Mine for one of them and use stallia on the other. Start clearing graves too. When you have finished three of the four moonflowers plant a dusk lobber to deal with the other zombie.

Use chard guard + blover to quickly dispatch of high health zombies like bucketheads and gargantuars. If a PPM blows up a gargantuar use blover to get rid of the imps.

You're basically done! Use PPM in emergencies with plant food. You should have ~2 afterwards.

Trivia[]

  • Crazy Dave saying that he named the middle lawn mower "Mowie" may be a reference to how kids often name things something ending in the letter(s) "-y" or "-ie."
