Honestly not a good topic, but ok.
I don’t think anyone really cares about recycled content. As long as it’s fresh and not unbalanced, it’s fine. Most of the zombies are just reskinned versions of each other, but we’re fine with it cuz they usually add something new.
The wiki's uh... ok. I haven't checked on it in a while. I'm very glad the NMT laser background is gone, it was very distracting.
But... if someone can just revert the colour changes to this, that would be great. It doesn't look good.
imo the tower defense pvz games work best on mobile or just touchscreens in general. And I think most tower defenses kinda want touchscreens as well. It's mostly due to how much easier it is to place towers, since on pc you rely on hotkeys and in pvz's case, drag-to-drop. I have a lot easier time getting stuff done in pvz on mobile rather on a computer.
Problem with this approach is that the mobile market is ass and relies on marketability rather than quality, so without a known franchise or company backing you up, you're up the creek without a paddle.
The garden warfare games without question should not be on a touchscreen. Most mobile games need quick and simple motions to play, and something as complex as even 3d character movement will be impossible to implement without destroying the ui.
And finally... the card game. Honestly not much to say here, it works on any and all platforms really.

PvZH has a pretty forgiving system compared to other games when it comes to "loot-boxes". Sparks can be used to get around this randomness and instantly get you those good cards like Galacta-Cactus and Split Pea without having to go through packs. The game's also pretty generous in giving beginner players a massive amount of gems at the start via quests and hero quests and giving everyone 4 event cards and a pack for free each week. PvZ2 has a much more appalling system in its level-up mechanic, in which the seed packets required to level up a plant soar exponentionally, and getting a specific plant's seed packets is even more tedious due to the fact that pinatas can't even guarantee you'll get them.
Swaggy Shooter wrote: I assume the only reason you don't have any problem is cuz youre an old player. You didn't suffer rarity drop much or coin removal.
Firstly, coin removal does almost nothing since common cards are incredibly easy to craft and only a couple handful are even worth the sparks. You also get common cards for free depending on your starter heroes, so it's kinda whatever.
Secondly, I have to agree that rarity changes are huge. Stuff like Jugger-Nut and Pogo Zombie are harder to come by compared to how easy it was to get them at the start of release. However, as someone who sparked most of them anyways (i still regret it and had to recraft them) or simply missed them, I can say firmly that it is possible to do without them. If you focus on other decks and craft them later on, you will eventually get them. Just treat them how you would other super-rares and you'll be fine. It does suck that budget decks now have fewer tools than before, but it's still manageable.
Idk what people are talking about by the game being p2w. The competitive mode is so easy that you can use bad decks and still climb up in ranks because you can't even drop ranks. And even if you don't have that many good cards, you can still win with decks with rare rarity tops (and maybe even event cards like Blooming Heart and Haunted Pumpking).
Anyways, my hot take on this: There's just a lot of stuff pvzh could have done but didn't. This game was pretty promising at first, but lack of content and infrequent updates dragged it down over time. There could have been more heroes and cards as well as improvements to multiplayer modes and especially singleplayer, but for now, it's gonna stay as is as the fanbase slowly dies out.

To clarify, it is impossible. Fortunately, we were graced with 2 free galactic packs, and I'm not complaining. They gave us more than what we would've gotten from the last reward.

Swaggy Shooter wrote: Anybody thinks that BMC is better than PvZA? BMC didn't die as a laggy mess, you don't need alt accounts and it's on mobile.
No, because PvZA wasn't repetitive and boring.
haha yes tell that to any of the "free to play" games on the mobile market
Han0303 wrote: Bungee Zombies suck, but when you're the plants fo some reason they're good.
Bungee Zombie's ability is amazing for I, Zombie. However, he's just really expensive for something that can get rid of only one plant and can't eat brains. You might as well add an extra Buckethead to that row instead.
You know, I've always liked using Ladder Zombie in I, Zombie. Due to the absence of Screen Door Zombie, I just use Ladder Zombie as an alternative. He runs fast and he can block shots from Snow Pea with his ladder. I don't even use him for Wall-nuts, the things that he's supposed to be put up against, cuz he loses his ladder.

Might be they edited by section. Nothing wrong with that.
Actually, yes because you can very easily edit all sections at once. It is still considered fluff to edit the same article several times.
Marcia Aeris wrote: To be frank, I, Zombie isn't really that hard, but I like it. It's fun and a light puzzle to take whenever you don't have much to do. Granted, if you play the game a lot, most of I, Zombie becomes child's play, but experimenting and seeing your zombies chew through cardboard was really satisfying.
it's satisfying until you realize there's a starfruit in the other lane
at least it came back in garden warfare and heroes
Better than luck-based vasebreaker.

seriously though discord gets most of the discussion when it comes to pvzh so yeah
Freezing that lasts two turns instead of one is unnecessarily strong. We can make do with one turn freezing.
Cryo Yeti needs more reliable freezing cards, sure, but it also needs to have its stats changed.
